Congratulations to all Rushbrooke Players who yesterday captured the  Munster Schools Under 16 and Under 19 titles for their respective schools.A great achievement, well done to all involved.Pictures from the presentation available in the image gallery.

The South of Ireland Championships will take place over the Easter weekend beginning on Thursday 9th April-Monday 13th April 2009.

Entry forms are now available in the club for the fun/buster prediction league starting in March and running till November.People are asked to predict winners in a variety of sporting events and awarded points in all of the 16 events.Entry is 20.00e and must be returned by the 20th March.A target of 100 entries if achieved will have a prize fund of 1st 600 2nd 300 3rd&4th 100 each.If more than 100 entries are recieved the prize fund will increase and if below 100 the fund will be reduced to a percentage of all fees recieved. This is a chance for everybody to become involved and have some fun and maybe win one of the top prizes.

Thanks to everybody who turned up on the day for the 12hour marathon held on the 15th Nov.A sum of over 1,100e was raised on the day from  sponsorship and pledges from a number of club members. Anybody with sponsorship money collected to be handed in can leave it behind the bar for Attn. of Colm or anybody wishing to contribute to the fund can also leave any contribution behind the bar for Colm.  

A sale of Club gear was also held on the day of the marathon and almost everything available went.Well done to Breda Nolan and Tini Mc Donagh who left no one escape empty handed.A huge amount of stock was sold at greatly reduced prices to make way for a new product range which hopefully will be available soon.

Well done to Laura and Niamh who served tea/coffee and scones to all members on the day.    

Both the Main Final and Plate Final in the very successful Turkey League Tournament will be played this coming Friday 28th Nov. at 8pm.

Thanks to all the players who have played in this new event which from the feedback seems to have been a major success in its first year on the events calendar.

Hopefully as many members as possible will come along on the night and cheer on the teams still left in the tournament.

The club fundraising marathon will take place this saturday from 9am till 9pm.People are asked to sign in at the office on arrival where they will then be allocated a court to play on.All sponsorship money collected can also be handed in at this time.Hopefully as many people as possible will come and play on the day.There is a time sheet in the bar where people can put their names down in a specific time slot if they want and turn up at this time on the day.
